I am not sure how the rate hikes in Australia are justified. I have been here over a year and it is baffling to me that the government just announces rate hikes without any remediation and everyone is like - Here we go again! I am sure there is explanation to it but just baffling to me
Watching 'Person of Interest' on and off now. It is brilliant in its writing, pace at which the episodes run; it might have done better with dialogue, but that is nitpicking. The concept hits too close to home now. Sometimes I suspect the whole AI doom-mongering is more fiction than fiction itself.

Question is - how far will this be allowed to go until OpenAI is charged? Follow up - who will take the decision to charge them? There is an inherent acceptance that anything and everything the tech world does now is in accordance to the wider government body or its hand of approval. Am I wrong?

OpenAI made an explicit decision not to report the user to authorities.
#AI as an overarching tool and a system to run and govern every aspect of life seem to be appealing to a very specific group who seem to value only one thing. I don’t know how to specifically make it more obvious.

Watching “From” has to be an exercise in patience. The story telling is frustrating and never progresses into anything of substance. Increasingly becoming a waste of time!

This is outrageous. Why are we even on their platforms? This is a company who has violated every trust in their users and basically has non existent ethics, be it for data privacy or now with AI. I just can't help but wonder where will the users draw a line?
