On this day 15 years ago, we launched our first game, Bastion. To everyone who helped the Kid survive the Calamity, thank you!!🙏 You're the reason we've been able to carry on as an independent studio ever since.

Proper story's supposed to start at the beginning. Ain't so simple with this one.

the only way to become a good artist is by first being a bad one. we're discouraged as adults to pick up something new, to be a beginner again, to be bad at something again. but art, like anything else, is a skill. the path to mastery? putting in focused, consistent effort over time

A manga series (and movie!) that I'd forgotten about, but had a little niggling remembrance of when I watched Girls' Last Tour and saw how that played around with WWII military vehicles. Just couldn't place the name of it until today. Yoshihisa Tagami's Grey (1986).

If only Leonardo had possessed an Orcatech computer graphics workstation, then, well, Ezio Auditorre would have flown over the streets of Venice by helicopter and not glider. A neat ad for what turns out to be quite an important series of graphic workstations in the history of CAD.

A magazine ad scan with a photo of a guy with long grey hair and a beard and wearing a brown medieval monk-like robe sat in front of a computer screen and terminal. A wax candle stands on top of the monitor, and an easel and a painting of the Mona Lisa stands behind him.
