I think I'm happy with this reference sheet for Vivienne as is. Short story: I was unsatisfied with her design for some time. I couldn't put a finger on why I was unhappy. Then I had a conversation with a friend about OCs wearing glasses, and it suddenly clicked to me that Vivienne could do with-

A reference sheet of Vivienne, a gryphon. The left-most drawing features her in her outfit, which only has two colours. Her outfit ended up being simple because I couldn't bring myself to change her outfit's colours. It's a reference to how her original outfit's colour scheme. The next two sketches show her head profile from the side, and how her wings are attached to her back. Her topwears are always modified to allow her wings to move. The coloured middle drawing features Vivienne without her clothes. This shows her underbelly colours better, as well as a look at her prosthesis design and how she wears it. The right-most sketches show Vivienne wearing different styles of glasses, and in different expressions. She's generally a happy gryphon. The bottom sketches show her prosthesis design from the side, and how it's actually like without all the covers.

I adopted her from an artist (SkywaySky) who isn't on BlueSky, but is active elsewhere (Ko-Fi, dA, Toyhouse). I'm such a sucker for long dresses like hers, and the pointed hat is a bonus! Plus she's themed around grapes~ This isn't the finalised drawing for her. I will do a full ref sheet soon-

Slow and steady, wins the race. Or so the saying goes, as I slowly work on references for my characters. And this week's focus is Elsie, Charles's secretary! She isn't a fighter. She's just an artist who has to write up reports and financial statements for the group.

A page dedicated to Elsie, a pine marten secretary. Top left image shows her in full colour, and in a pose that references my previous attempt at drawing her. It's meant to showcase her flair. To her right are sketches where I was attempting to get the hang of her design, as she is an Axe original design, not an adopt design. The top-middle page shows her without clothes. She's really awkward about being nude, especially without her glasses. So many things are a blur- The top-right sketches depict Elsie with different styles of spectacles. The left one has circular rims, while the right one has sharp triangular rims. The bottom sketch shows her hair when viewed from behind. The bottom-left sketch features three headshots of Elsie hanging out with Munais and Aquila. Girls just wanna have fun, ya know? The bottom-middle sketch shows Elsie at her computer, where she's about to crank out another 10,000-word fanfic based on her favourite TV show. I don't know what her favourite TV show is. The bottom-right sketch shows Elsie cowering while a monster with long stalked eyes searches for her. A mollusc-shaped body can be seen poking out. It's okay, Elsie won't be digested by this monster. She would be shrieking and throwing stationery at it.
