So, uh, academic folks who have been a part of CCCC for a while, folks on Facebook have shared the news that NCTE has decided to dissolve our org. Like, wtf.

A couple hours ago, I woke up to messages about CCCC being dissolved and absorbed into NCTE's College Section. I don't know what this means for the 2027 conference, but I do know it'll be different, if it's held at all.

The University Press of Colorado / Utah State University Press wholeheartedly supports #CCCC and our #writingstudies and #teamrhetoric scholars in their endeavor to maintain this important association for the field.

i am once again thinking about syllabi accessibility statements

it’s so embarassing living out a trope bc certain experiences are like the quintessence of an identity (e.g. the liminality of the multicultural/immigrant kid experience) like i feel like a someone’s college admissions essay rn

i will always resist any perceived constraint, especially when it comes to writing. (mla formatting is currently irritating me. why can’t i use text blocks for 2 line quotations. it looks so much cooler. and it’s easier to follow. did i mention it looks cooler.)
