We are excited to share our newest preprint, which takes the group in a new research direction. It turns out if you want to make MOFs from uranyl cations, you just need to increase the size the heteroatom in your aromatic linker. chemrxiv.org/doi/full/10....

This has been such an enjoyable project to work on and was made possible by the outstanding work of so many! I'm excited that it's ready to share and stay tuned for follow-up POM stories coming soon.

This is lab's first foray into lower valent actinide chemistry and it has provided the platform to extend our work into transuranic systems. Led by 4th year PhD student Primadi Subintoro, this has been a really enjoyable story to see come together!
