Literally just look at pictures from 40 years ago and the sky is a different color. No generation will ever be as lead poisoned as gen xers or boomers. Cigarette smoking has declined drastically. Strom Thurmond? Dead. Scalia? Dead. Reagan? Dead. Better things are possible.

I have a personal belief that the more a person is a nerd for something: dinosaurs, The Odyssey, etc, the less likely they are to enjoy a popular entertainment version of that thing.
