Villa and Newcastle are in similar spots but taking very different approaches. #AVFC have committed to rolling the dice on wages, with the hope that repeated UCL will brute force the club into the elite. #NUFC won’t do that. Villa are closer to implosion, but also a lot closer to bridging the gap.
