An economist fighting conservative and right wing misinterpretations of economic theory. Why? Because bad economics generates confusion and conflict. USA. đź’™ https://hanselkrankepantzen.blogspot.com

I keep seeing suggestions conservative, Republican voters are so ignorant, or so stupid, they "believed" Lord Dampnut's lies on this or that issue. I just don't buy it. They seemed quite happy at the time to declare they knew he was lying. They thought it funny, entertaining, a way to own the libs.

Lord Dampnut's Iran War is progressing exactly how anyone familiar with fatuous hubristic egotists will have expected it to go. Every bad decision will be doubled-down upon, every hole will be dug deeper, every truth will be hidden, every bridge will be burnt. Political theater at its worst.

So some people really find it more plausible to propose humans were made in the image of god than the other way around? I find it quite funny. Not egotistical at all, right? God just happens to look like a primate that evolved on Earth. What? He's also male, "white," and does the crosswords? Odd.

I suppose one can understand American and European history and literature well enough without "studying the bible" oneself. The former is about what other people made of it, how they interpreted it, how they used it, and so on, not what it actually says, or your own take on what it says.

I love the way voters in the New Confederacy / Magatonia can only promote certain issues if they propose "it's not a matter of right versus left" or "rural versus city," because if it were, then it would be game over. Comically, it usually is just that, but never mind, it doesn't really matter.

I wonder how much it will cost taxpayers to restore and rehabilitate the WH and other Washington sites the conservative, Republican fascists are so busy defacing, perverting, destroying. Well, it's only money. It's rather like rebuilding after a war, but hopefully it won't come to that this time.

Saw someone talking about how much better Dems are at delivering real economic results and I was thinking, "Everyone knows that. The issue is not positive economics; it's normative economics. Conservatives, Repubs are 'value voters,' however misguided those values may be. Have you see red states?"

Did fascist Leader / crime boss / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut really vote by mail in the Republican primary for the New Confederacy / Magatonian province of Floriduh, even after declaring such voting "inherently corrupt" and trying to prevent others from using it? Comical.

Crypto-currency speculators, criminal outfits, drug gangs, weapons dealers, etc. are often all about the supposedly anarchic quality of crypto until someone steals their crypto, then they're all about property rights, law, law enforcement, government. Typical of the type, wouldn't you say?

Is that conservative, right wing, anti-democracy fascist / gangster Stephen Cheung real? I thought he was some sort of online AI joke, but I just looked him up. Apparently not. He's just as real as Lord Dampnut, Mitch McConnell, or Ken Paxton. Where do they get them from? Remarkable.

I'm put off by "bipartisan" policies and initiatives because it implies the goal or objective is finding common ground with anti-democracy conservative, Republican fascists, working with them, getting along with them, while I suppose the priority must be fighting them, opposing them.

The perpetual plea and constant complaint of the conservative / "neoliberal" faction of the Dem Party, "We're not liberals! We're not progressives! We're not democratic leftists! We get on well with conservatives, Republicans!" The rest of us, "We know! Now can you please finally just go away?"

Want to hear a joke? Conservative, Republican voters who gaze up worshipfully at every rich establishment elite idiot they encounter, who follow plutocrats' every word, who line up to kiss their rear ends, all while pretending to be "anti-establishment" because as fascists they oppose democracy.

Anti-democracy authoritarian leaders often get on quite well when they both find it to their advantage, albeit later not so much. See the grudging respect Mr. Hitler had for his arch-enemy, Mr. Stalin, the short-lived Nazi - Soviet Pact, what came after. Fascists also get on well, until they don't.

Pet Peeve of the Day: If Amtrak were a serious rail network it would develop and publicize convenient car rental at their stations. As it is, their only advice is look for nearby rental companies, get a ride share or cab to go there, remember to give yourself enough time when dropping off. Comical.

Judging by the commentary on our "political system" (democracy under the US Constitution), many Americans are so fearful of criticizing and debating especially the normative or moral views of other voters, they would rather just not have democracy, then piss and moan about the results.

Did you see fascist Leader / crime boss / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut's latest walk down AI fantasy lane? It depicts him showing George Washington, the man who would not be king, the Epstein Trump Golden Ballroom, and has him thanking Mr. Washington for his suggestions on it.

It will surely be a day of great jubilation for many when fascist Leader / crime boss / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut passes away from natural causes, but keep in mind conservatism, Republicanism will not die with him, nor will the conservative, voters who support him. Just saying.

I wonder why conservative fascists always rely so heavily on draconian policies against obvious scapegoats, such as the Nazis savaging Jewish shopkeepers back then or Republican ICE goons attacking random people they suspect of being illegal immigrants, often people going to their jobs, whatever.

I find it comical so many Americans applaud the exploits of billionaires and trillionaires, which sport teams they buy, where on Mars they intend building castles, how they feel about AI, taxes, whatever, while also complaining about the cost of groceries, fuel, housing. Just never getting any clue.

Did anyone expect fascist Leader / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut to respond to reports of issues on the USS Lincoln caused by unusually extended deployment by saying anything other than the deployment was not nearly long enough? No self-correcting mechanism, only hubris.

When it comes to "death panels" making calls about costly medical treatments the less economically powerful can't afford on their own, conservative, Republicans much prefer private businessmen in the insurance industry thinking about profit to physicians in government thinking about health outcomes.

I saw a funny post of someone claiming to be an anarchist who said he was also anti-fascist, but then I suppose simplistic utopian anarchists are just as anti-fascist as they are anti-democracy, so sure. Most anarchists are egoists who take to fascism like a duck takes to water. See crypto-fascism.

I saw a fun article on a small Christo-fascist town with a "church on every corner" in the southern New Confederacy / Magatonian province of Tennessee that is still enthusiastically, rabidly behind fascist Leader / crime boss / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut. Remarkable place.

I see a more conservative / "neoliberal" Dem won a Dem primary in conservative, right wing Wisconsin aka The Alabama of the North. It's fine. He's surely to the left of anti-democracy conservative, right wing, Republican fascists / gangsters. Rates of change, improvement may vary by location.

Sometimes I suspect those who call themselves "independents" suppose those who belong to one party or another don't do so because they prefer that party's positions, policies at that point of time but because they've entered into some sort of weird cult agreement. Must be from Magatonian red states.

I wonder why corporate media wants to portray every Dem primary as a "fight over the party's future?" One supposes in some places more liberal / progressive / democratic socialist candidates may prevail, in other areas also pro-democracy but more conservative / "neoliberal" candidates. So what?

US conservative, Republican voters rise up as one and proclaim, "We demand lies, ignorance, and incompetence! We demand corruption! We demand unnecessary wars! We demand an economic system that screws us over again and again! And if we don't get what we want, we will burn this place to the ground!"

Speaking of conservatives wanting to run the US government like a private business, did you see conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut's company, Trump Media, has gotten "more than 10 private firms" to pay them "up to $100 K per month" for fast access to his "Truth" Social posts?

Did fascist Leader / crime boss / conservative, Republican president Lord Dampnut really say recently he was prepared to declare a national emergency for Republicans to control, manipulate, possibly cancel upcoming elections? I looked online and they've been talking it up for quite awhile now.
