Having a laugh at Lance and Dave basically making fun of Vinnie Romeo aka Vinnie Valentino telling them to announce him as being from two different places.

I've never seen Dundee come so close to missing this but they did a good job of saving it.

All the modern wrestling obsession with 'conflicted babyfaces' misses the whole point of pro wrestling. It's not really a black and white morality play. It's tribal conflict. The babyface can & will be cheered for doing something the heel could get tons of heat for. Like this:

I always get a kick out of Big Red but as far as fat guys of the era whose big move was a splash, he had the least height on his out of anybody. He barely gets off the ground at all!

this era of Memphis is the peak of wrestling TV formatting; the studio set-up meant that a Lance Russell piece to camera could lead perfectly into an interview, which then turned into an angle, and then gave way to a scheduled match. Everything just seamlessly flowing together.

This is one of the more fucked up finishes I've seen from Memphis TV as I'm almost certain Ali Hassan was not supposed to move out of the way of Bill Dundee here

The $5,000 check is obviously a lie but that $1.2 trillion isn't sitting in an account, it would have to be borrowed in the first place. If you think interest rates on the debt are high now, think what the yield would need to be on a "we needed to buy votes" round of bond sales.
