Robin got a clean bill of health!! She's 11lbs and diagnosed with sweet girl disorder :3 She was soooo good she had to get 3 vaccines and we also decided to get her chipped as well, and she took all 4 pokes like a champ! Didn't even care sfkljgdf

I’m so so happy Robin loves her water fountain and drinks a few times a day bc she hasn’t TOUCHED her wet food yet 😭 she eats her dry food but won’t eat her wet food at all.
i know nothing about cats btw i dont know her breed or her coat type or anything i just know shes a Little Lady.

Robin's first night went okay! She woke us up a few times meowing for attention lol but she seemed to be comfortable leaving the bathroom and exploring as we slept. She went to the bathroom (yay!!) and used some of her stuff that we got her/brought from her old home. :3
Managed to make a decent "cat highway" as Jackson Galaxy calls it lol where Robin can sort of walk around our entire living room without touching the floor if she wants to... Using the couch as a bridge between her cat tree and the hammock on the window I'll be getting today :3
So after like almost a year, I finally found somewhere to put it :) Kat and I found this garden decoration at homegoods a couple of months ago. We have a balcony now, so I decided to put him outside and put his collar on him :)
Krissi! 🥊✨@krissi.bsky.social · last yr.I am not sure what to do with his collar tbh, he didn’t wear it often bc I was always paranoid he’d choke when we weren’t around! He did always wear it when we lived back in PA and he was never home alone though.
jk im now torn between trupanion and embrace.... trupanion has a higher premium per month to start but as she gets older the premium wont go up. itll only go up if vet costs go up in our area. thats super enticing because (knock on wood) i assume i'd use the insurance more when shes a senior...
Krissi! 🥊✨@krissi.bsky.social · 2w agoKat and I settled on Embrace because they seem pretty good, and reviews for them are very good as well. We were sort of torn between that and Lemonade, but are going with Embrace because of a couple more perks that Lemonade doesn't offer.
Rearranged the entire living room and I'm sacrificing my WFH desk to make room for kitty stuff (I'll just work on the kitchen island lol). I hope she knows how loved she's gonna be with us!! Also looking into pet insurance and x.x god there's so many options.
this is also a good opportunity for me to ask cat owners if you guys have like must haves. brands you swear by, toys that your cats love, food brands, water fountains, litter boxes, etc etc!!
So the world works in weird ways lol literally not even an hour after posting this, Kat got a text from his coworker who's sister in-law was looking to rehome one of her cats due to some problems they were having with them getting along. They have two cats and wanted to rehome one of them.
