btw the reason I'm still posting on tumblr but not on here despite the tumblr sex ban is that at least tumblr's guidelines don't support the existence of thought crime also ironically, tumblr automatically flags completely harmless content as mature far less than bsky.

for the longest time, gen 2 was my favorite gen, and it's still one of the gens closest to my heart, esp Crystal! but over the years, gen 3 just 🥺 became my ultimate comfort food doesn't matter whether it's RSE or ORAS. just. peak Pokemon.

Sam had the fantastic idea to turn the top 5 Pokemon meme into a top 10 Pokemon meme!!! so here are a couple more of my favs as well. ...plus I messed up on the last one, Torterra is clearly among my top 5 of gen 4, I must've accidentally scrolled past it :O

I felt bad for all my faves that didn't quite make it in last time, so I expanded this to a top 10 for each gen! Even then, there were loads from gen 8 & 9 that I didn't have room for. Guess it's time to be honest that I like the modern gens more than I pretend to lmao

this was so difficult, some gens have so many bangers it's hard to pick just five (6 an 7 in particular), while with others I was kinda scraping the bottom of the barrel (4 and as you can see, 9... still hopin for a good mega or two to take the empty spots) template: tiermaker.com/create/every...

does anyone else have this thing where if you get into bed the night after a nightmare, you get swamped with sudden intense memories of the nightmare the moment your head hits the pillow? my nightmare last night was that my cat had died and now I'm nervous all over again 😣
