Great to have Ted Lasso back. I was very cautious about it as they rounded it off so well but I’m far more confident about it now after that first episode. It’s little things like the iPad bit that really get you. That’s where the genius is found.

Bernardo the latest to leave. I’m really not bothered about any of the outgoings from Celtic. Even Maeda, he’ll definitely be missed but he wanted to go. Most simply weren’t good enough. Two weeks tomorrow we face LASK in the biggest budget game of the season. Where’s the ins? Not ready. Again.

The non-football men who continually fail the football side of the club also can’t run the business side. The ONLY reason Celtic continue to operate in the black is because they have guaranteed income from season books and do just enough to get competition money where little competition exists.

It took #Celticfc FIVE months to create the new Head of Business Operation & fill the position. Our Head of Scouting left in December for Swansea - SEVEN months on still no sign of his successor. The Head of Football Operations was sacked in January - SIX months on still no sign of his successor.

Champions League home qualifier confirmed from Wednesday 19th August. Nope. Not another penny. The board don’t take Europe seriously, I don’t take them seriously.

I’m old enough to remember when we used to get a special guest in to raise the flag. Callum McGregor did it himself this time. What happened, was Albert Kidd too busy?

FIFA’s back tracking statement is missing a resignation at the end of it. Regardless of what happens to Infantino next, it’s clear an organisational shakeup of FIFA is desperately required to prevent anything like this from happening again.

The dip this time last year aside, Daizen Maeda has been terrific for Celtic. He dug deep to get us over the line at the end of the season, just when we needed him. Phenomenal work rate, that overhead kick against Rangers will go down as one of the all time best derby goals. All the best to him.

I’ve blitzed my way through Ann Droid this week, absolutely brilliant. Clearly Diane Morgan is amazing as a robot but Sue Johnston plays off her terrifically. So funny, and yet poignant as well.

So the policy is to be a child. Just keep asking and asking and asking and asking and asking and asking in the hope it wears then down. Sadly I knew the SNP leadership had no plan B. Time to remove John Swinney as leader and replace him with someone who does have other ideas.

John Swinney says he will continue independence push despite Downing Street saying referendum is ‘off limits’ www.holyrood.com/news/view,jo...

Is it just me that’s fed up hearing about the woes of the Glasgow School of Art? Twice that thing went up in flames, the second time wiping out a very much loved music venue in the process. No love for the ABC, no faithful rebuild, just student flats plans. GSA should have similar treatment.

Two faced Anas Sarwar finally stepping down as Scottish Labour branch manager not because they heavily lost the recent Holyrood election but because he’s been given a Westminster job and will go to the House of Lords to serve it. That’s Sarwar that said Labour would scrap it. He disgusts me.

That independent review into the Cup game at Ibrox, if reported properly, is damning for the police and Rangers inability to properly coordinate the safety of the game. But I’ve already seen the media just want to blame Broxi Bear. I’d expect the green brigade to be banned again soon too.

All this pissing about asking permission from Westminster for a referendum and then moaning it’s anti-democratic that the latest government won’t give it is a total waste of time. Start coming up with other ideas before Westminster starts dismantling Holyrood.

We’re long past the time of every Marvel movie being a must-see so I’m probably not as excited about Avengers Doomsday as I was for Infinity War and Endgame, but I’m still intrigued. I’m more interested in Spider-Man Brand New Day to be honest. I want to know how Peter’s doing!

Cleaning the bathroom must be the worst housework job. Dust just sticks to wet and refuses to clean off. The smell of the bleach and cleaner sticks in your throat. You need a shower after vigorous cleaning, thus messing up the bathroom again. Open a window? My bathroom doesn’t ever have one! Argh!

For all Spain were more or less the only team trying to score last night, and Argentina tried to win through dark arts alone, Spain actually won the dark arts battle too. Rodri particularly wound Argentina up both during the game and even after the game was done - whatever he said started the fight!

BBC ripping into Argentina losing the plot, totally ignoring the Spaniard in the bib who sparked the whole thing. Lack of class on both sides, but sure, let your own bias colour your judgement.
