Could we please agree that using the word "pod" as a short form for "podcast" is an affront to all that is sensible? "Pod" isn't skeuomorphic or anachronistic. It's just always been wrong. In the portmanteau, "cast" is the part that matters. I've tried to let it go, but I can't. Tx.

As far as I can tell, gun control and AI control policy questions are the same: can tools be evil/dangerous, or only people? is it ok to make a tool that harms if it can also do good? to profit from this risk? should we care about the political influence the companies making these tools wield?

Sssh. No one tell the spammers of the world that consultants don't actually want 1,000 new leads a week. Or 250 podcast appearances a year. Or whatever preposterous, nightmarish opportunity they're grifting about this month. It makes them easier to spot.
