When you see something like this literally in the middle of nowhere you gotta pull over and take a few photos. Nikon D750, 24-70mm lens at 38mm, f11, ISO100, five exposures combined for the final image

Ship Rock as seen from Buffalo Pass in Arizona's Lukachukai Mountains. I had no idea this view existed, I just happened to stop at Buffalo Pass to stretch my legs for a minute when I looked out and saw this. Nikon D750, 70-200mm lens at 200mm (DX crop on), f11, ISO100, 1/200 second

Brazos Cliffs in northern New Mexico on a beautiful autumn day, taken last October. A different viewpoint compared to the one I posted two days ago, thought it would be interesting to share and compare the two. Nikon Z9, Z 70-200mm S lens at 88mm, f11, ISO100, 1/200 second

Brazos Cliffs, taken while chasing fall color last October. What I liked about this scene are the layers, clouds, mountains, trees, and the open meadow... Nikon Z9, Z 70-200mm S lens at 100mm, f2.8, ISO100, 1/1600 second

An experiment in making a monochrome image during last month's visit to Monument Valley. Always fun to try and do something a little different with a familiar subject. Nikon Z9, Z 24-70mm S lens at 60mm, f11, ISO100, 1/100 second

Spotted this while driving a remote back road in northern New Mexico a few years back, pulled over and took a few photos even though it was midday and the light was harsh. Glad I did because a few months later it was gone. Sometimes you gotta take the photo when you can, blink and it may be gone.
