Nothing will help you grow more quickly in any art form than interrogating why creative decisions do and don't work, imo. Why did that singer do x thing with their voice? Why did this artist place their line of action there? Why is that writer describing this thing NOW? Ask and answer... why?
You taught me that people can do things for others and be truly satisfied and unburdened with that effort. That love and understanding was the most valuable thing. When I think about you I feel a vacuum where you used to be, but I also feel the holes in me you filled up before you left.
Streaming isn't really lucrative, but I'm finding as I'm closing this chapter on it, I never really wanted it to be to begin with? Creativity for the sake of a quick buck always churns out bad art. But even though only 12 people showed for this episode, everyone in my cast CRUSHED today.
