played some pd1 songs in mega mix. miracle paint and fukigen waltz are almost identical in both pv and map (this is because they were already perfect) sakura no ame is the most different. different version of the song and everything. one of the only modules that was kept tho.
kulisu
@kulisu.bsky.social
i like bayonetta | 20s commissions at ↓ artistree.io/kulisu
mikumiku bacteria and yumemiru kotori were by the same artist????? holy range
i should get my hands on project diva x. never played that one. i know some people don't like how it's structured but it probably has the best tracklist in the series imo. do not know where my vita is tho and i don't have a ps4 so actually playing it would be another thing
it's weird to me that the unlock criteria for the sakine meiko module has you use the regular meiko module while playing anata no utahime given that that song has an entirely pre-rendered PV. i would've gone for koi suru vocaloid since meiko's mentioned in the full version lyrics.
update: I have gotten at least a great on every song on normal difficulty
replaying original project diva. i didn't remember it being this easy but maybe my memory was clouded by replaying Marginal over and over again (which for the record I still can't get great on normal difficulty 15 years later...)
do other countries have any equivalent to a working with children check? I've only ever heard of that kind of system from Australians
weird part of the danron localisation is that hagakure says he's 21 when in jp he says he's 20. it's definitely because 21 is the drinking age in the us but the game still takes place in japan and 20 is above the legal drinking age in most english-speaking countries anyway so ???
I don't think this is the case (could be wrong?) but it'd be cute if the unlock condition for the Haku module in one of the diva games was dropping out of a stage a certain number of times. our girlfailure <3
has anyone ever played the miku flick games? 02 straight up taught me how to type in JP using flick input. thank you miku 🙏🙏🙏
I hope that the diva series continues... it seems like it's not going to but it's so special to me. diva and sekai can coexist surely...
speaking of diva1, 2 thoughts regarding disappearance: I didn't remember it was originally an image slideshow PV! unless the PV changes based on difficulty the only PV the stage it's usually associated with was used for was Moon (GORGEOUS song btw)

the Gothic module from the first project diva is super cute. it's also not gothic at all why did they call it that lmao
has toraboruta ever done any musical theatre work? he did the score for the kokoro stage adaptation ofc but that doesn't seem to have been a musical. i just listened to Kouya to Mori to Mahou no Uta for the first time in like a decade and i feel like he'd be really well suited to it
shout outs to celeste for being a notoriously difficult game that also has very good accessibility options
I've said this before but I think Star Fox 64 is one of the closest things to a masterpiece that exists in the medium and also I just straight up did not enjoy it past the first like 2 levels but it's quite short and super impressive so I still think everyone should play it at least once
No hate, no dogpiling, just curious. For me, it's Skyrim. Don't know why, considering it should be exactly my kind of game, but it just didn't click for me.
最近はダンガンロンパへの懐かしさめっちゃ感じるんだけどうちのpspが何処にあるかわかんなくてSteamで買ってみたら約三千円かかりそうなのでまぁ今度はやらなくていいかな
I always get George Orwell and Orson Welles mixed up in my mind, which is probably not helped by the fact that Orson Welles's full name was George Orson Welles
it's a shame that the best anipoke song (also apparently the only english-dub song that was used in the jp version of the show if bulbapedia is to be believed) is very difficult to search now because they named it pokemon go
there are some youtubers i watch who are very good entertainers but who i cannot bring myself to like on a personal level, but their worst crimes are Acting Like Kind Of An Asshole so it's not serious enough to deprive myself of the entertainment.
I also told some people about Wartrain Gouon today which allowed me to have the beautiful exchange of "Bayonetta turns into a fucking train?" "no only her bottom half does" "so like a centaur but a train instead of a horse" "yeah like that"
I mentioned Steven Universe in front of a kid (for clarity: mid-teens) and they got REALLY excited and afterwards their parent told me they had SU as a special interest. Well Guess What.........Me. too
i feel like everyone but me has forgotten that the official undertale tumblr account posted in-character as mettaton telling people how to tag porn fanworks about a week after the game came out. i think about this fact often
I often see people criticising Wind Waker for Tetra having significantly darker skin than Zelda, and I agree that this is strange. what I don't see people bringing up as much is that they also did it earlier (and continue to do it) with Sheik
a physical copy of star fox 2026 costs 100AUD jesus fucking christ
i know that my transition has been successful because i will go into a clothing store looking for parts for a costume for a performance, will describe to a worker what i am looking for, they will look around and say "sorry we don't have anything like that"
if i were a streamer i would do STREAM ENDS BEFORE I END UP IN HOSPITAL streams of video games that have medical gore where i have a heart-rate monitor and if my heart-rate started dipping i would immediately alt-f4 so as to not pass out and have a seizure live
love quokkas, i wish the average person never found out they existed
