I saw a fanart I drew a couple of years ago for a series I liked when I was 8-10. And suddenly, for once I did feel that "oh, it's how I'd have loved to have drawn it as a child". It was rather uplifting...
I had that wip since last year, I'm not very happy with how the storm/lightning looks but I'm still learning how to draw stuff like that...

I started reading AFFC... huge milestone for Cerv, that stopped reading ASOIAF back in 2012, right after binge reading the two previous books
I have doubts about drawing fanart leaning more towards that style, because to do it properly I need to think about their faces more and even the most basic drawings could be headcanon heavy. But eh it's how I want to draw right now... (for the most part) The face variances are slight, anyway

I tried Bristol paper and it felt a lot better than I expected with pencils! Even if for shading I still prefer the usual sketching paper I use

Similarly, in the internet circles I am, Demian has gotten a lot more prominent since I first read it, but I think that comes from the book being very popular in Korea (?) or at least the references I saw mostly come from Korean media (source: there was no fa when I looked for it in ~2014)
Bolaño has gone from "I haven't heard that much about him" to "there's even a gacha character based on his works" in little over a year, for me
I don't draw Tellius that much because the outfits are too detailed (😔) but I miss Sephiran...
The design isn't very well thought yet, the concept has been there for over a year but I draw him differently every time. That's just how it came out last night.
