I borrowed a friend's old Tesla Model S last week. The low voltage battery died and the car went completely unresponsive, locking me out. While I was still standing there trying to figure out what to do, my friend called me. "Hey, I just got an alert from my car that the battery is low."

Really thrilled at the reaction to the #BuyNow film, I had a great time working on it. We're starting to break out into the mainstream with our fight to make things last longer.

Two years ago, a filmmaker approached me with an idea. They wanted to explore why we were stuck on this treadmill of buying more and more things. We went on a journey together that took us from the halls of Congress to an unlikely gathering of fixers in California.
