First image is Glacier Peak in the distance. Second image is part of the Easton Glacier on Mount Baker. Both images were taken from Park Butte on 9/6/2022. The first image is looking south, while the second image is looking north. The Cascade mountain range can be quite stunning.

Back in May, I was at the Narrows in Malheur National Wildlife Refuge, eastern Oregon. In these heavily cropped images, you will see a bald eagle that has caught a pintail duck by its legs. Images taken with a Nikon Z9 and the Nikon 600mm f/4 1.4x TC lens, shot wide open at 840mm.
