On Red, White, and Bluegrass, we talked about Governor Beshear expanding the Pre-K pilot to two more counties, including my hometown. The supermajority took no action on Pre-K this past session. I'm proud to support solutions that put our kids and working parents first.

When the Legislative Research Commission tells you your election reform bill has to be broken up into separate bills because it's too much legislative awesomeness for one document. 😅 One bill or many, let's get dark money out of politics and end partisan gerrymandering.

Representing a purple district means putting people ahead of partisanship. Watching Fancy Farm, I saw R candidates focus on making Dems sound scary, while Ds talked about affordable housing & accessible healthcare. I’d rather work toward real solutions than peddle fear.

Happy Fancy Farm Day! It's the unofficial holiday that marks the real kickoff to campaign season in KY. Not sure I’m quite ready for that big of a stage yet, but maybe someday! For now, I'll keep putting in the work for those I represent in the 45th ✊

A high point from this morning at NCEL was hearing from a Georgia Republican how he uses dollars and cents to get his conservative colleagues to support investment in solar energy. The sun doesn't stop shining when the Strait of Hormuz is closed. We need to consider that in Kentucky!

In Chicago for Day 1 of the National Caucus of Environmental Legislators (NCEL) conference. I'll be working with experts and state lawmakers from across the country to bring real solutions back home to Kentucky, keeping our energy reliable and affordable while protecting our environment.

Great discussion on KET last night about data centers, ratepayer protection, and transparency in Kentucky. Honored to be one of Renee Shaw’s final guests before her retirement, I had to capture the moment! Grateful for the standard she has set in Kentucky journalism.

Proud of the hundreds of families who packed the Capitol yesterday to speak out against the 4% Medicaid waiver cuts. This shortfall came from our state budget underfunding Medicaid. We must step up and take care of the vulnerable seniors, children, and neighbors who elected us to represent them.

Had such an incredible event yesterday! When we talk about putting people over politics, we don't just get donations. Last night we added new volunteers, event hosts, and yard sign locations across the 45th. Thank you to everyone who came out and who has committed to helping us win this November!

Honored to have been nominated and accepted into a highly selective national network of state and local leaders who get things done. Loved meeting everyone on our welcome call today. Stay tuned, formal announcement coming soon!

Fantastic kickoff to the Southern Legislative Conference last night at Keeneland! With legislators from all across the South visiting Lexington this week, the Moore family was proud to serve as the unofficial hosts right here in the 45th District. Welcome to Kentucky! 🏇

Glad to see bipartisan housing legislation will become law despite the president's refusal to sign. It incorporated a version of my Houses are Homes Act, giving people, not corporations, the first chance to buy a single family home. #housing www.cbsnews.com/news/housing...

Bipartisan housing bill automatically becomes law after Trump refuses to sign it

A landmark housing bill automatically became law overnight after President Trump declined to sign it.

Utility bills aren't partisan, and we don't make America great by allowing preventable medical emergencies or deaths from extreme weather. Read my full letter to our congressional delegation in defense of the LIHEAP program, which would be eliminated by the Trump administration's proposed budget.
