According to this cool feature on the Mirriam-Webster website, the words anime, boy band, brain dump, effed up, and of course buckminsterfullerene we all born the same year as me.

I also fixed a lawnmower recently and @yozetty.bsky.social gave me a record player so I am flirting with becoming a vinyl guy. I am speedrunning this stuff.
You've unlocked a new level of Dad
This gift from @ashleygodbold.bsky.social has officially graduated me to the next evolution of this long term obsession.
Pretty bold of Christopher Nolan to make Tom Hardy one of his recurring guys and then cast Logan Marshall-Green like we wouldn’t notice.
It’s not a true Nolan experience unless you request a subtitle machine.

In honor of Nirvanna The Band The Show coming to Hulu tomorrow, my daughter made Matt Johnson in Tomodachi Life: Living The Dream. He will undoubtedly wreak havoc on her community.
Great game that was always hard to recommend just because I had to be like, "I think you need Netflix?" It was one I reviewed during my brief @gamespot.com tenure.
Poinpy, an awesome mobile platformer from the creator of Downwell, has been re-released for free. gameinformer.com/2026/07/23/p...
I was scrambling so much to live stream the cover reveal this morning (which had some tech issues so it was stressful) that I totally forgot to post this before we launched the Onimusha issue.
Please look forward to me sharing this right before the launch of every new issue of @gameinformer.com magazine.
Love this cover.
Onimusha: Way of the Sword is the latest game on the cover of Game Informer 👹 We traveled to Capcom's Osaka HQ to play never-before-seen parts of the game, interview the team, and learn how and why the studio is bringing back this series after a 20-year hiatus. gameinformer.com/cover-reveal...
This week on The MinnMax Show, Delayed Input's Kyle Bosman joins us to create "The Big List Of Things That Are Always Fun In Games", review Denshattack, and walk through ways to improve Ocarina of Time. youtu.be/DvVdpMnQhSg
I only review games where you have about five minutes to do everything right.
An incredible interview-get for MinnMax. I only wish I could have been there.
“Christopher Nolan, what's your favorite FromSoft game?” All of these and more are answered by our special guest of the week here on New Show Plus. youtu.be/0qMYOVG4ta4
Randomly played through (and enjoyed!) Tangle Tower with my daughter about a year ago, so I was very excited to learn that @chuckduck365.bsky.social likes the sequel a bunch.
With memorable puzzles, eye-catching animations, and a spirited voice cast, I admire the way the story was told just as much as the story itself in The Mermaid Mask. Our review: gameinformer.com/review/the-m...
Excited to have @gameonysus.bsky.social's byline on Game Informer!
In Beast of Reincarnation, your pet companion Koo lets you fight like Final Fantasy VII Remake. Read our hands-on preview with the next game from the creators of Pokémon right here. gameinformer.com/preview/2026...
Thinking of trying to become a successful comedian, not because I’m funny or would be able to get anywhere close to pulling it off. I just really want to be a contestant on Taskmaster.
Not sure why these two are pointing at each other, but I think they’re about to fight.

Wario Land: Super Mario Land 3 is crucially important to my video game upbringing. It’s one I don’t acknowledge enough. It’s possible I spent more hours replaying that game over and over as a child than I have all other 2D Mario games.

Sitting in the lobby after my early morning Supergirl showing, fixated on composing my single sentence Letterboxd review, an older gentlemen walked up to me and asked how to exchange his ticket for a different time. He apologized after I apologized for not being an employee.
I don’t know how to monetize it as a skill, but I am constantly asked, “Do you work here?” everywhere I go. It can be a restaurant or a clothing store or a book store. It’s usually at Target and I am never wearing a red shirt. I just look like an employee, I guess.
