Love my dog (Rosie) and grand dog (Apollo). Wife, mum and step mum. Bereaved parent due to suicide. Interested in cooking, gardening, general interest, and dogs, of course!
I made a baked ratatoullie, lamb backstrap and saganaki for dinner. I fed Dad as well. Mum's still in hospital after having her knee replaced. Dad also came for the pancakes this morning, plus I sent him home with a piece of pear cake. @nicoleyc17.bsky.social inspired me with her ratatouille.
Had a cooking lesson with my cousin. Used @crowbar.wtf 's book to teach him pancakes. It's going to take more than 1 lesson! Now a 6.5km walk done. Next, we'll be doing some gardening on what is now a lovely day.
Hubby is at TAFE again today. Just had a 6.5 km walk with Rosie. We obviously left home at exactly the same time as last week because I passed several groups of people in exactly the same spot as the last week.
Last year none of my daffodils flowered. This year I do have sunflowers but these two clusters that are under my Crabapple have not flowered. Deciding whether I will have to move them for next year. Or leave another year and then decide.
I'm so tired or more my brain is! I have so many teams I am dealing with at work, across multiple time zones, and so many different tasks across different disciplines. I do enjoy it but this week I'm feeling the pressure. It doesn't help when you have to correct other's mistakes frequently. Breathe!
Just had to give hubby a quick PowerPoint lesson. He has to build a basic presentation for his course. It's all new to him!
@kaih.au does this sound real? The ASUS ZenBook 15 UX534F is intermittently losing its IP address and DNS routing due to instability in the Intel Wireless‑AC 9560 network controller or its drivers. Both Ethernet and Wi‑Fi show “connected” but no internet, and rebooting temporarily fixes it.

However I have tried it both with the hard cable to the dock and Wi-Fi and I get the same problem. I have tested by switching my mobile to airplane mode and I still get signal

Customer complaint- we got a result. We don't think we should have got a result. Me- The algorithm performed as expected. Customer- we don't think the algorithm should have performed as expected. We think there should have been a problem. Me- 🤷♀️
It feels like it should be lunchtime already! I've been st my desk since 6.30am but I only had breakfast at 9am (porridge, yoghurt, strawberries) so I shouldn't be hungry!

When we complete a walking challenge at work I call BS on those who say they do 20,000+ steps every day. We all have desk jobs. I am at my desk for 8 -10hrs /day. I just walked for 1hr 20 mins. It wasn't even 10,000 steps.
Tomorrow I will be watching Song Sung Blue on Netflix with a box of tissues at my side. If you haven't seen it then please watch it. It's brilliant.

It's mornings like this that hubby is glad he no longer had to capture train at 5:15 a.m.But, Melbourne, we're over winter. Here's hoping this is the last of the really cold weeks until next year.
I hate boy's clubs. Went to a conference on the weekend and was chatting to another vendor. Another guy came over and then shook hands with the man I was chatting to, started conversation with him but totally ignored me. I recognised him but couldn't remember his name but I know we were at uni.
If you're after a good show on Netflix then try Running Point with Kate Hudson. 30 min episodes. Very funny show about a very dysfunctional family. Lots of laugh-out-loud moments.

Just got us cheap tickets to see Six the Musical later today. I've been trying for over a week now but the trick is to sit on the app with open and as soon as 9 o'clock hits then you purchase.

More tech suppprt for hubby! But I did tell him to ring his son, who is studying IT and working in IT support, and get him to come over and help him to set up the laptop he needs it. I don't have the capacity right now!
