Congratulations to Anna Kristin Schöfl (MANOS Gymnasium, 11 grade), the youngest scientist in our lab! Supervised by Andrej and Andrea, she studied lipoproteins in blood plasma as part of her high school research project (Wissenschaftliche Jahresarbeit), and successfully defended her thesis 💪

Happy birthday, Max Planck! #OnthisDay #OTD

🐰For over 20 years now, our famous MassSpec Easter Bunny makes a special visit to @mpicbg, spreading joy and sharing sweets with our colleagues in the neighbouring labs. So lovely to see two beautiful assistants, PhD student Viditha and postdoc Silvia, helping The Bunny to carry out the mission.

What do Phe, HbA1C, C6H12O6 and pTau mean and have in common? Introduction at Friday seminar @mpi-cbg.de made by Andrej is always entertaining! Hint: this time it's about mass spec and diseases diagnostics. And if you know the answer you get an extra 🍺 for the MPI Meet-the-Speaker beer session😉

Fantastic talk "Proteome-wide Absolute Quantification of Biofluids" from our PhD student Viditha Rao on Friday Seminar @mpi-cbg.de! Development of a new ms-base method and its application in molecular diagnostic of neurodegenerative diseases - it's a very strong research work. Congratulation!
