And since 1993, the DEMS are gladly to help in that crusade.

Left Behind: The Democrats' Failed Attempt to Solve Inequality
The 40-year history of how Democrats chose political opportunity over addressing inequality--and how the poor have paid the price For decades, the Republican Party has been known as the party of the r...

True but the big money will oppose it. They lost the primary but not the general, yet. Democracy hangs over the fire pit by a thread and the GOP is coming after it with a blow torch.
The GOP is going for the one party system where the party not the elected officials make the law.
This isnt new, this has been their MO our entire lifetimes. My issues is the DEMS, always look to find common ground with them.. to further the GOP agenda.
Sad but true. The Dems had conrol and let Reagan gut government institutions that keep people off the streets. When they got control they compromised with the GOP and did not restore the institutions, or reverse tax cuts or much of anything the GOP did.
Trump inherited one of the strongest economies in the world, yet 33% of Americans still think he inherited a disaster. The power of right wing propaganda. #BlueWaveIn90Days
This would amount to a complete capitulation from the US. Literally no way to even attempt to spin this as a win.
1% of the country owns more wealth than the middle class. Why? Because Washington spent decades fighting for the rich instead of working families, and Trump has taken it to a new level. November is our chance to elect leaders who actually give a shit about working people.
The fact that the Democratic senators are agreeing to a continuing resolution until Dec 11th with NO compromises for them is absolute political malpractice and head scratching. Why not even try to ban like…. The arch? Anything!
Indeed. If people step out of line they will feel the full force of Qatari law.
Note to the media: El Sayed isn't running against the Democratic 'establishment' he's running against Mike Rogers. Spend a little more time covering that race and put this manufactured party crisis crap in the rear view mirror.
I hope Stevens is willing to go back out to all of those black churches and barbershops, and really try to help get the skeptical older black folks to get out there & vote for Abdul. I still don’t fully understand why that cohort preferred her over him, but now all that matters is winning.
We need unity to fight against the republican threat. I respect her for doing the right thing.
This 100%. The level of catastrophic damage far surpasses the terrible things I predicted.
Not just our democracy. Our literal lives, given MAHA. Our entire national economy and our struggling neighbors, given DOGE. Our communities, given ICE. Any hope of a place in global society given DoD. Any hope of trade, given tariffs. Literally, actually literally, the future of this nation.
Worse than "did" .... he's made exploitation, graft, and hate the GOP calling card.
Weird how this basic decency has become exceptional. Trump did that
…We need to win this Senate seat, because Elissa Slotkin deserves a partner like Abdul in the U.S. Senate.”
A gracious concession: “I want to congratulate Abdul El-Sayed on winning the Democratic nomination for U.S. Senate. He is a doctor, a community health official, a Rhodes Scholar, and a dedicated Michigander. I am proud to offer my support as he takes on Mike Rogers in the general election…
Google says: Islam is the official state religion of Qatar, and Sharia law is the main source of its legislation. The population is religiously diverse due to a large number of foreign workers, consisting of approximately 65% Muslims, 16% Hindus, 14% Christians, and 4% Buddhists
Curious what religion is the dominant one in Qatar and why is it okay for the president to accept gifts from them when it's not okay for them to be in politics?
Think of how many people that could feed or house. The $$ billionaires waste so they can make even more money is shameful.
I’m so happy that 70 million was effectively flushed down the toilet and that AIPAC and any other bs PAC didn’t get what they wanted. Gives me a little spring in my step, whistling while go. 🥳
