“You said the 2020 election was rigged by either Venezuela or China. When you called that fella in Georgia pleading for 11,780 votes, was that part of the rigging, or part of the 6-year investigation? Just one more thing, sir, who was president while all this rigging took place?”

Mainstream Respectable opinion is that people joking about a bad person's death represents a culture of cruelty, but really it represents a culture of impunity. It's a coping mechanism for watching someone do evil their whole life and never seeing consequences

We need more people running for office as Democrats who understand these fundamental facts like Saikat. It’s about delivering material improvements to people’s lives. Making things functional & reliable enough for people to have opportunities and thrive. Counterbalancing the powerful & connected.

Labour won in backlash to conservative. And today, Reform is winning in backlash to Labour. If we can't use democracy to improve people's lives, far right parties are going to keep rising. We should heed this lesson in America.

While there wasn't a line in that famous Niemoller poem citing "when they came for the police officers....", but apparently now there needs to be one. Hope to see more LEOs wake up to the blatant illegality and deceitfulness of this ICE/CBP-fueled Holocaust. www.rawstory.com/ice-26750089...

The concept of "unjust acts under color of law" is what ICE is doing. Abusing the statutory authority given it by violating rights enshrined by law, but claiming supremacy over consequences for those violations because they are the ones with guns. IT IS INDISPUTABLY WRONG.

The past few days have been rough ones, on a few fronts. Before I resume my regularly scheduled doodling & art posting, I just want to share a thought I've posted elsewhere, but feel is vital for people to read right now.

The thing about the Boston Massacre— the fruits of arbitrary power— was not that the colonists were universally in the right. Things were thrown at the soldiers. But, the presence of a standing army escalated conditions. The use of force that night was not proportional. Citizens died needlessly.
