It's daily drawing time! Hope everyone is ready for mediocre doodle spam! Now, I will be doing this differently this year since I will be traveling in 12 days. Until then, expect digital, then I will shift to traditional. Timezones and spotty service may create a day missed or double drawing day.

I was looking for something else when I found this silly practice I did a few months back. I swapped Yarrow and Wist's color palettes on already finished renders. It was actually mega fun, and I would recommend trying it if you want a simple and silly drawing experiment.

A digital full body drawing of my original characters Wist on the left and Yarrow on the right. Wist has had the colors swapped to Yarrow's palette while Yarrow has Wist's colors. I think it works for Wist, but Yarrow can't pull off the purple as well as Wist can. I am not kidding when I tell you this was really fun to work out since the designs are pretty different the colors really help make the look, so I had to try a few different colors in places before coming to these. Like the red heart on Yarrow's chest piece is the color of Wist's boot bottoms

Cleaning the brooder, and we had an escape. They are getting too good at jumping and flapping. (They are trying to 'fluff' the area as a nest to take a nap)

(WIP please don't repost) I was trying to get this done before October, but I don't know if that is going to happen now. Guess I'll aim before leaving for a month. Though will be hard with daily drawings going on at the same time.

A work in progress drawing of my characters Yarrow and Wist some more hidden oc lore Wist is actually extremely brilliant, and very clever in terms of problem solving. However, he is very confused on how it is possible for Yarrow to be so different from him. It does not take him long to figure out why his uncle Khelna is extremely bothered by him, and furious towards his appearance.

This goes always when I post a WIP drawing. I like feedback on stuff. Even if you don't think it means much, it does. I'd rather have you explain it to me and try to learn why that feels off to you, than not know and make the same mistakes over and over.

I have a really pretty drawing idea I want to make but my health is standing in my way. Now I have to decide if I should try and draw it anyway and risk getting discouraged because not well enough to draw properly or save the idea for when I feel better and risk losing motivation for it...

I've realized I've been doing this lately. in the art post I keep things short and simple, but I just go off in alt text about one thing or another... I still try my best to explain the image beforehand, but I am sorry if this is a misuse of this feature.

a two image combination. The first image on the left reads 'me in the art post' while there is a vs in the center, and the second image reads me in the alt. text. On the left side is art of my character Yarrow, but he is looking simple and pleasant, while on the right it is Yarrow but he's more monstrous looking. It's to symbolize how I have been hiding things like my feelings for the art, or how I feel about a media in the alt text as a sneaky way of putting it out there in a way no one else would see. I also hide character lore in the alt text. but I guess now that I have brought it to attention, maybe it isn't so sneaky anymore. I am just concerned I am misusing a tool that is meant for something else.
