For anyone who doesn't want to read the patreon post one thing I want every fanfic writer to know: When you're writing characters in conversation you gotta start a new paragraph whenever the speaking character changes. Please I've had to bail on so many fics because people didn't do this.

I think a lot of people underestimate how forgiving Kickstarter backers can be, as long as you keep them in the loop. Being late doesn't sink you. Most Kickstarters (yes, most, as in literally THE MAJORITY) blow their deadlines. What sinks you is silence.
