Poorly finger injury update...am sure you're all agog So relieved I didn't go to A&E after Lord SG's experience Pain is apparently from the fact the blade cut right down deep through the nail as well as the skin. Yuck But on the upside, despite still being sore, I think it'll heal ok in time
I've been watching our resident #badger for more than half an hour. He's behaving more like a fox and is grabbing food and rushing off with it. Definitely not a herbevore! The foxes are wandering around, a bit bemused at where their supper is going Will add pics taken through the door on my iphone

I forgot to post earlier about the joyous news from the family #Salah Four have become five with the arrival of baby boy Leil to join his big sisters Makka and Kayan. His name means night in Arabic Apparently Magi flew 'home' (my choice of word) to #Liverpool to give birth #redsky #lfc
After three hugely stressful days, am letting my hair down with a glass of white wine, a late supper that was made beforehand (Nigella's chicken with lemon. parsley, leeks and orzo and a crispy skinned baked potato) a weary and pained Lord SG and a demanding cat (two more nights, one more day)
