The LPD's monthly Coffee with a Vet takes place tomorrow, August 4 from 9 to 11 AM at Cove Community Center. This event offers conversation and support among veterans including LPD officers who themselves are vets.
The Lakewood Department of Human Services' free summer meal program has been extended through August 14. From Monday through Friday, kids of any age can enjoy a free healthy meal at Cove Community Center between 12 PM and 1 PM. This program is open to everyone. For more info, call (216) 529-5061.

In conjunction with the Lake-Clifton Connector Project, Enbridge is performing gas line work on the south side of Clifton Blvd. as a result, the work zone has been extended to Bonnieview Ave., occupying two eastbound lanes.
From ODOT District 12: The W. 140th St. entrance ramp to I-90 eastbound will close on Monday, July 27, through December for ramp reconstruction and work on the adjacent I-90 bridge. The detour will utilize the newly constructed Warren Rd. entrance ramp.
