A citizen's duty isn't over once you vote. You gotta tell the people who got voted into your district what you want to them to do re: new legislation, current laws, etc. Politicians rep you even if you didn't vote for them. You have a responsibility to be politically active 24/7/365 in a democracy.

We constantly surface the worst on social media to grouse about and angrily shred it. This is one why social media gets so toxic. E we can't stop sharing bad news and bad people in the name of awareness.

I saw a guy the other day wearing a T-shirt that said "Give Violence a Chance" and on the back "Lions not Sheep." Alpha-male bullshit MAGA literally promoting violence in public.

Went to Ruby's Bookstore and brought home this haul of historical fantasy. It occurred to me that I've written historical fantasy (albeit very dark). "The Dark River in His Flesh" came out in 2004 and "Though Thy Lips Are Pale" came out in 2009. And then BRIMSTONE & BLADES.
