One of our objectives w/ #WickedSchisto is to understand what #WASH interventions are popular and cost-effective in #schistosomiasis endemic communities. Securing govt & district-level buy-in was one of our first steps, to ensure the project is rooted in local systems, priorities & leadership.

Before data collection begins, there’s one thing we never skip: community entry. Earlier today, the #WickedSchisto team met w/ subcounty leaders to introduce our work and ensure communities are fully informed and involved from the start. Collaboration first, data later. 🤝 #WASH #NTDs #Uganda
