Art made by stroke patients. I facilitate a weekly art session at St Michael's Hospital, Enfield. I have hundreds of these photos and it seemed a shame not to share at least this small selection. I'm not a therapist -- the sessions are intended to be an opportunity for the patients to escape being prodded and poked for an hour or so, to chat, and to have some agency over something. Nevertheless, participation been observed to be incidentally therapeutic. And I love what is realised!View all comments
