Also SGA showing his MVP level skills. First time this playoffs; let’s see if Spurs can withstand that - could be a problem in a tense 4th quarter.

Obviously OKC (and especially SGA) can play better than last night, but it’s gotta be worrying for them that Spurs won G1 while shooting 30% from 3, and with Fox out/Castle having 11 turnovers. #nba

Shannon was really good for Minnesota, I hope he can keep getting better. Not sure what the market looks like for Randle but I would try to get Ant some other help so he isn’t congratulating the opposing bench with 8 minutes to go again. He doesn’t deserve that.

These Waymo vehicles… one started to move into my lane while I was in its blind spot (?), then seemingly spotted me (thankfully) and swerved to the other lane instead and … just stopped. Blinker on, three quarters in its own lane, a quarter in the other, not moving, blocking traffic. The future!

Playing in a “Premodern+” event (Premodern with enemy fetches) this month. Gonna play this list that I’ve been playing in regular #Premodernmtg with worse mana. Love drawing my whole deck and then forcing my opponent to draw theirs +some

A blue-green magic the gathering “combo” deck that puts a lot of squirrels into play and draws a lot of cards, fueled by Gaea’s Cradle and cards that untap lands

We are currently fostering a 13yr old grey toy poodle mix, he’s getting along great with our own two toy poodles. Here he’s featured cuddling up against our old gal Winnie.

A grey toy poodle-mix laying up against a caramel colored toy poodle, both fast asleep. The grey poodle has his tongue hanging out.

Two recent #premodernMTG decks I’ve had some succes with. Basically took the Tireless Tribe deck, yanked out Quiet Speculation and put that in WGU threshold, replaced it with Armadillo Cloak, Sylvan Library and Flesh Reaver.

Premodern Tireless Tribe deck without About Face and Quiet Speculation, laid out all nicely.Premodern UWG Threshold deck with Quiet Speculation to fill the yard, looking like Terrageddon without Terravore.

Premodern is such a fun format!! To all those that would like to try and are on the fence: there are several decks that you can build on a budget to play with friends, especially if you don't care about the original old border printings. Below, some low to medium budget decks I've built in paper:

Sharing this quote from “Origins of Totalitarianism” today for no reason at all: Totalitarianism in power invariably replaces all first-rate talents, regardless of their sympathies, with those crackpots and fools whose lack of intelligence and creativity is still the best guarantee of their loyalty.

My deck for the last week of #mtgpremodern Spice Paradise. This deck was based on an old Inquest Invasion Block Domain deck that I always kept together as one of my first “real” decks. I updated it with some insight from Kai Budde’s GP London winning deck.

A Invasion Block Contstructed deck all nicely laid out so the cards are visible. It resembles Kai Budde’s 2001 GP London winning decklist.
