As I'm about to board a JetBlue flight, I'm actually reassured that a bit flip mid air could actually occur, and that the plane was roughly able to handle it within a couple seconds.
This is terrifying.

I can't believe how many people I know in real life order peptides from random internet marketers. It will only get worse with bobby jr giving it a stamp of approval.
A federal judge on Thursday sentenced the owner of a peptide company to nearly six years in prison after finding he built a massive business by deceiving customers and selling products that were adulterated with steroids.
Attorneys for xAI claim the Minnesota statute “imposes an overbroad, content-based ban on free speech and the tools of visual expression.”.
SpaceX-owned xAI, the developer of Grok, sued Minnesota AG to challenge a law coming into effect in the state that will ban "nudify" apps, use of these AI image generators to make non-consenting intimate images, aka AI deepfake porn of real people including minors. www.cnbc.com/2026/07/28/s...
The grift and the graft is this article is breath taking, even for this collection of bozos

Season 2 of The Agency is out now and wagner's activity in the CAR is a central theme. Great season of tv.
Prigozhin's dead. Wagner has been converted into Putin's Afrika Corps. So what has happened with the rump Wagner organization? It's running Africa's biggest opioid manufacturing and trafficking operation out of the Central African Republic and making a mint doing it, reports WSJ.
must be some kinda abbott and costello radio transmissions
Nice look at how Ukraine is using V-Bat
did everyone know that pepperidge farm cookies are all named after cities?
Strangest story went viral for about 45 minutes. A fake news paper wrote a story about a fake Republican startup buying newspapers in Alabama and running them into the ground. But the newspapers all still exist and the names of everyone in the story don't. Very strange social experiment?
I deleted this post because, after a deeper look, I couldn't verify that theeditorial dot news was an actual publication or that any of its authors were indeed journalists. cc @dwillis.bsky.social @jamellebouie.net @ndiakopoulos.bsky.social @1gregtodd.bsky.social @damon.kiesow.net
I'm thankful for all of Pfizer's innovation to create tofa, but also @mcuban.bsky.social's CostPlus, and generic drug manufacturers in general. Finally available as a generic as of this month.
I don't talk a lot about work here, but I looked into a phishing campaign that targeted a Belarusian opposition politician and then turned out to also impersonate at least three popular Ukrainian portals (it was also my first blog post for Censys) censys.com/blog/unc1151...
UNC1151 Phishing Email Targeting Belarusian Politician Points to Multi-National Campaign - Censys
New Censys ARC research discovers that UNC1151's phishing email to a Belarusian politician is linked to a much broader campaign.

i do this stuff for a living and i would have guessed this was a phish instead of an authentic microsoft email
This is the kind of niche expertise you used to only be able to get on twtr
If Rhino Pipeliner 5000 (w custom flag blue tint) is indeed what they're applying, in around 5 years it'll be delaminating and peeling up in massive slimy sheets. So a perfect future metaphor for the Trump years inB4 capitol scum pond liner delamination
Congrats to all involved! Lot of big names coming together

Disappointed that Tincan didn't use an Rj9 for the headset connector
Of all the horrible stories coming out about this program, this details of this may be the worst.
Looks very much like murder to me.
I know nothing of LA mayor politics. I do find it interesting that the guy was all over the airwaves/feeds, both for and against, and I couldn't pick the third candidate out of a lineup. Does media that reaches me (Boston) broadly impact the electorate in LA? I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt?
Nithya now ~7K behind for L.A. Mayor. At this rate she should pass Pratt tomorrow or Monday.
What is "AI SOC" all about anyways?
