As I'm about to board a JetBlue flight, I'm actually reassured that a bit flip mid air could actually occur, and that the plane was roughly able to handle it within a couple seconds.

Strangest story went viral for about 45 minutes. A fake news paper wrote a story about a fake Republican startup buying newspapers in Alabama and running them into the ground. But the newspapers all still exist and the names of everyone in the story don't. Very strange social experiment?

I know nothing of LA mayor politics. I do find it interesting that the guy was all over the airwaves/feeds, both for and against, and I couldn't pick the third candidate out of a lineup. Does media that reaches me (Boston) broadly impact the electorate in LA? I doubt it, but it doesn't hurt?
