Convention wise, comparison monkeys, I can forgive as not everyone understands the concept of OCs. However, my pet peeve at conventions are, other than disgusted remarks on the prices are… drumroll… “have you made all this?”, especially at a proper comic con.

In general, the usual comparison monkey remarks like my train OC looks like Thomas or my fish characters look like SpongeBob incidentals. However, weirdest remark was how they like my character Percy because of a Thomas character called Percy. Because being a Thomas fan. It is just a name people! 🤦🏻‍♀️

If you see this, please tell me the worst/most baffling bit of creative feedback you've ever recieved. Mine is still the time somebody told me my aliens had names that were too alien. Not that they were unpronounceable, just that they didn't sound enough like human names.

Challenge: your oc/sona but with the voice of a character they share a name with. how fucked up is it? Partially the reason why my Buck is called Buck as was inspired Tuddrussel, the burly time traveler with a visor. My Buck might actually suit a Rob Paulsen voice if he can do German-like accent.
