Ditch the AI prompts and keep the niceties
Shut up you absolute clowns be ashamed you absolute dingbats with your "always smoke with a filter" > Removing “please”, “thank you” and other unnecessary words from AI prompts could save 87 to 98 gigawatt-hours of electricity per year, the report from the UN Unhinged and shameful
This has been said to death but I'll just say it again: if you're in the creative arts space stop calling your art "content". Call it "work"! Calling your art "work" shows it's the result of time and skill. "Content" makes something sound like it has no purpose other than to take up space.
Writing is fun 👍🏻 Telling people about your writing is less fun 👎🏻 Anyway, I've entered a thing into this year's Spring Thing festival of interactive fiction. It's a (sort of) real-time poem called 23 Minutes. Have a play and let me know what you think ☺️ www.springthing.net/2026/play.ht...

Day one of @voidspacezine.bsky.social Strange Play is almost up. What a brilliant selection of works. In terms of seeing genuinely surprising and genre-breaking games, it's been first rate.
I'm showing my game parodying AI tech bros at Strange Play, part of London Games Week Favourite comments so far: "I hate you for this" "It's just like scrolling through my LinkedIn feed" "Go away Mick Diddler" At the Theatre Deli in London all weekend: voidspacezine.com/strange-play...

We don't know. What we do know is the wiring diagram works. We built it, virtually, in @godotengine.org. We fed it scans of the books we found. And the books are very, very strange. The "game" that resulted is also strange. We're hoping people can make sense of it for us.
