I haven't said this in a while so I guess I need to say it again. Gamers! Video game corporations (such as Sony, Nintendo, Rockstar, Microslop, Blizzard etc.) ARE NOT YOUR FRIEND! You don't need to defend them, they have armies of lawyers to do that. Also simping for corps in 2026 is a gross look.

Decent writing, and certainly very detailed, but the settings and gameplay just don't scream "endless hype" to me. Just always bewildered me
it's also okay to like a game even if it is bad critique shouldn't come from a place of hate it should come from a place of appreciation for your chosen art be honest about where the artist achieved what they intended, and where they come up short

I hate how every indie game has graphics. Genuinely, can't these people come up with new ideas? They also all have gameplay, and characters. God, indie devs are so unoriginal. People only like it because it's indieslop
i see the inverse of this so much more often just describing what a movie is trying to do is considered "unnecessary critique" and why can't we just be positive about movies we watch or shut up if we 'don't like them'
i often wonder how much of ppl misunderstanding of contemporary language has to do with their overreliance on LLM's i bet you it's high
Michael Legel@mjlegel.bsky.social · 2mo agoI was in an HR meeting and the HR clown kept saying we should “drive” this behavior or “drive” some idea. I told him I drove a Chevy and his misuse of the word “drive” was ridiculous. It drove him to anger.
I want 4 day work weeks, free universal healthcare, and a livable wage to meet my basic needs!!
You can actually budget all you want and stop eating out, but it doesn’t change the fact that people don’t just make enough money for this economy anymore.
it's the guns AND the cars. they are both astronomically higher than other countries who have better gun laws and are not as car dependent as the usa

Nash@radiodeadair.com · 2mo agoI get really frustrated with Linux people who insist it's ready for prime time, because it remains an OS for people who want to learn how an OS works. The utter fucking annoyance of adding an additional hard drive is maddening. In Windows or MacOS, you just plug it in and you're done. Linux? Nope.
instead of preordering freshly announced AAA games which may or may not exist, give me that money on my patreon instead for a game which definitely will exist but it won't take as long if enough people choose indie over preorder
