Having been the editor for Lumi’s final stretch, I will always cherish seeing what an absolute labor of love this pilot was even in raw form. Such a gift of a project, plain and simple. I’m endlessly proud of everyone on the team who made it possible.

One year ago today, I released the animatic pilot of Lumi and the Great Big Galaxy, a project I was finally able to bring into the world in 2025. I wrote a little retrospective a year out since its release. There's a lot I wish I could have said, but I hope this is enough. Happy one year to Lumi.✨

I don’t think I’ll be jumping into anything huge like another episode, or a full series— but I’d love to continue the story in some way. Or work on it in small chunks. I’ve still got a lot of figuring out to do. But I hope you’ll enjoy what I have to show when the time comes. ⭐️
