Occasionally someone will ask "how do they know those shelves are for them?" and as any cat owner knows, that's really not the issue
The river towpath is currently bursting with fruiting blackberry bushes; hundreds of people pass by every day, and I for one always stop and take a handful of blackberries to eat. But I keep seeing people with bags and boxes systematically stripping the bushes and ... I think that's out of order?
On the Eurostar wondering if it's weird that the quickest way I can tell if it's Normandy or Kent is the shape of the electricity pylons
Looking forward to new proposals! And thank you to @lauraashe.bsky.social for taking on the editorial, and all the board members [including @15thcgossipgirl.bsky.social!].

Wow that half time show was extremely cringe Football halftime is just meant to be 15 minutes of footballers spitting while commentators say it's tough conditions
These teams realise they now need to score a goal every 5.5 minutes or be humiliated, right?
TW not a joke The Odyssey is probably the best film ever made and I have only two notes, one trivial, one serious: (1) I cannot get with Telemachus calling them "Mom and Dad"; (2) Where were all the enslaved women? Euripides was all over this, as actually was Homer
Can anyone explain to me why I have a visceral hatred of short-sleeved shirts? Rolling your sleeves up: makes sense, it's warm. Short sleeves: an abomination crying out to heaven for vengeance. But WHY?
Remember when you were a kid and you really wanted to be well dressed and look good but you genuinely couldn't tell what was good when you looked in the mirror and just had to rely on what other people said? That's Starmer with moral policy
