The heat in the studio during this painting has been a challenge for me and the poor flowers! 🥵

Busy working through my miniature paintings for the Royal Miniature Society exhibition... real mini ones this time 🧐
This miniature painting, along with two other works, will be part of the Hilliard Society annual exhibition, opening 4th July in Wells, Somerset.
My painting called I'm Fine Thanks, has been selected for the Royal Academy Summer Exhibition 🥳 This one is for every woman I know x
I loved painting these early blooms, especially the fritillary flowers... Mother nature at her finest 😍
Thank you so much for your support at the recent Cheltenham Art Fair. Choosing to buy my work always delights me...thank you 🙏
Miniature painting time... this one is off to the Hilliard Society for consideration in to their miniature art exhibition 🧐
This little painting is off to the Cheltenham Art Fair in April with the lovely Jarva Gallery 🍋
A very large painting this time...especially for a miniaturist! 🤭
This little painting is part of the AOAP International Women's Day Auction, opening Thursday 5th March. Raising funds for the Hepatitis Trust...link to the auction in comments.
There is something captivating about painting glass, especially when it has the beautiful colour of olive oil in it 😍
Listening to the rain beat down on the roof whilst finishing off this painting...🌧🌧🌧
Sometimes it's the little things...this mini painting was a delight to work on 🍓
This painting has been safely delivered to the delightful Jarva Gallery in Buxton. It's called The Money Spider for those out there wanting a spotters badge 🧐 🫡
Painting some bright colours to encourage in the lighter days ahead...
Looking for that perfect Christmas gift? A painted pineapple 😃🍍...
This little painting will be part of the very first Secret Coast exhibition at the beautiful Tighnabruaich Gallery in Scotland 🥳
I'm busily working my way through my submissions for this year’s Royal Miniature Society exhibition 🧐
Inspired by my recent visit to the National Gallery and the stunning work of Rachel Ruysch, I thought I'd paint some flowers, and a ladybird for those with good eyesight 🧐 🤭
Here's a little painting recently sent down to the delightful Cotswold Contemporary Gallery...summer fruit is finally back 🥳
This has to be one of my favourite compositions to paint...though the etching on the jug can be a little challenging 😵💫
Painting miniatures really helps focus your mind of what to include, and more importantly exclude, to make a composition work...I'd highly recommend getting out the magnifying glass and having a go 🧐
I love painting dandelions...though I'm not so keen on tidying up the mess from the seed heads afterwards 🥴
This painting was such a delight to work on, especially knowing what was awaiting once I'd finished 😋
This beautiful copper jug, for my latest painting, came from a local thrift shop. I love the marks and dents in the surface, bringing its own history along. I often wonder where they have come from and what they have seen?
For those who love chocolate, but not the calories, this miniature painting is the perfect Easter gift 😄
Possibly my most complicated miniature painting so far. It reminded me that I have an opticians appointment on Friday 🧐🤭
The beauty of painting fruit is trying to recreate the unique markings, colours and shapes of each individual piece. I can't ever imagine growing tired of trying to capture this. Thank you nature!
This is my favourite copper kettle to paint. It was given to me from my dad, who salvaged it from a local scrap yard and cleaned it up for me.
My latest little painting has sent me slightly crazy! 🥴
