Oh god not the BBC now having to justify its own worth
What’s the purpose of a lip syncing Madonna here please

The latest one is how he had a baby and how he will neglect his children to campaign as a comedy character. Guys?! He doesn’t campaign? He literally turns up on the night. Just trying thinking about it for more than two seconds. Do you think he goes door knocking with his head in a bin?
“Who funds him?” No one funds him! There’s nothing to fund. He just gets the same bin costume out the loft for one evening every 6-12 months.
A terrible policy based on an assumption of consumer behaviour which just does not exist.

it’s a good thing our trains are equipped to handle these heat waves we now get several times a year so the capital doesn’t repeatedly grind to a halt
I've had 2 journalists today asking if Miliband as Chancellor would be a "Liz Truss moment" and find it difficult not to just respond "are you on crack?".
keep seeing reports that markets are jittery about a potential Miliband Treasury and it’s pure vibes right? he is a mainstream, experienced, capable politician who understands economics and they’re treating him like Green Liz Truss
One of the most miserable columns I’ve ever read - and, shock, the writer professes to have never even read or engaged with the material she’s complaining about. It seems exhausting to be this bitter about something that innocently brings millions of people joy www.ft.com/content/8d7a...
This is excellent news. YouTube Kids is an absolute menace - mindless scrolling aside, why the hell are 4 year olds being served adverts?! www.gov.uk/government/n...
Social media to be banned for under-16s in landmark government move to give kids their childhood back
Social media platforms to be blocked from offering services to under-16s, marking a line in the sand and setting a new normal for future generations.

Very grim picture painted here. The UK can’t cope with extreme heatwaves, but it needs to start preparing to right now www.theguardian.com/commentisfre...

Last week, I revealed in The Sun that the government was investigating extra childcare fees for funded hours following complaints and would announce a wider review of the childcare sector this week: www.thesun.co.uk/money/391866... The government has confirmed this today: www.gov.uk/government/n...

time to get on with some work and stop posting my intrusive thoughts on the internet
Lobby journalists exist in such a Westminster lobby bubble it makes it impossible for them to actually serve their readers properly. They ask strange political gotcha questions instead of pushing the government on meaningful policy change and holding them to account over regional failures
I like Pippa but “do you think Britain is ungovernable?” Seriously? I am begging the lobby to leave London sometimes other than on a plane and get a sense of what’s actually going on out there, and then ask some meaningful questions that might warrant somewhat meaningful answers. Christ
It literally doesn’t matter what words you draft for someone who is naturally not a charismatic speaker. It all sounded inauthentic and that’s what voters take away. It doesn’t matter that he’s from a working class family - he’s not working class any more and it is evident he’s out of touch now
Not Keir saying university graduates are on a pedestal when most young people will pay his party £50k in student loan interest over the next 40 years while being unable to afford a house
