The latest one is how he had a baby and how he will neglect his children to campaign as a comedy character. Guys?! He doesn’t campaign? He literally turns up on the night. Just trying thinking about it for more than two seconds. Do you think he goes door knocking with his head in a bin?
“Who funds him?” No one funds him! There’s nothing to fund. He just gets the same bin costume out the loft for one evening every 6-12 months.
A terrible policy based on an assumption of consumer behaviour which just does not exist.

Lobby journalists exist in such a Westminster lobby bubble it makes it impossible for them to actually serve their readers properly. They ask strange political gotcha questions instead of pushing the government on meaningful policy change and holding them to account over regional failures
I like Pippa but “do you think Britain is ungovernable?” Seriously? I am begging the lobby to leave London sometimes other than on a plane and get a sense of what’s actually going on out there, and then ask some meaningful questions that might warrant somewhat meaningful answers. Christ
It literally doesn’t matter what words you draft for someone who is naturally not a charismatic speaker. It all sounded inauthentic and that’s what voters take away. It doesn’t matter that he’s from a working class family - he’s not working class any more and it is evident he’s out of touch now
