I actually canceled a haircut a few years ago when my short haired friend had this happen to her. I have a deep voice and favor jeans and a sweatshirt when I'm out and about.

Idk who here gets into literary horror but there is a short story in Mariana Enriquez's collection The Dangers of Smoking in Bed called Kids Who Came Back and it is scary as hell. I cannot recommend it highly enough.
