Poisonwood Bible is a really good book and I don't know why it doesn't have more showing in theological literature spaces/divinity schools the way something like Silence does. Is it because it's got the crust of Mom Books from Oprah on it?

When trans people change their names, are they more likely to pick names that are more common in the current baby naming generation, or the one in which they were born? I've seen a mix of both and now I'm curious if anyone's studied this.

Two problems: 1) A tremendous amount of right wing media for men hits a tone of emotional abuse, mocking them for being losers and idiots and then promising them a way out. 2) What is the scolding happening? I think it's more than reasonable to say that economic populism is as good for men as

My sister listened to exactly one podcast on the rosary, now has one, and is praying every day to consecrate Russia in line with the visions of the Lady of Fatima. Get in, losers. We're consecrating Russia.
