Hunting will-o'-the-wisps, locals told me about a far bleaker local phenomenon. You don’t see the "Flayer of the Mist” directly, but through the dense fog, you hear the bone-chilling crack of a whip. As the sound draws closer, you know you are the one being hunted. CRACK! #horrorprompt

Sinking into the bog was a soggy, teeth-rattling fight. He had to move slowly, otherwise it gulped down more of his legs which worked against his instincts. To his utter horror the more he sank, the more of the Ghost Orchid next to him emerged. Renewal of souls, bog-style. #horrorprompt #renewal
