Today is @capitalb.bsky.social’s third birthday. In our short existence, we’ve grown to a team of 30 that has done incredibly important work for the Black communities we report on and for.

This enthusiasm for finding proof that the pilots in the crash were white men has the unintended consequence of lending weight to the racist/sexist idea that their qualifications could be called into question if they weren’t.

I see a lot of folks saying they don't feel bad about NYT and I remember when Hulk Hogan sued Gawker into oblivion with Peter Thiel's money and people said the same thing. Dislike NYT all you want! There are a lot of ways it sucks! That is not a good reason to root for de facto dismantling of 1A.
