We'll gather online in just over a month, so here's the who, what, why, when & where of Writing the Occult: Time & Place. What is it? A virtual day of talks, panels and workshops. Who's it for? Creators, writers and readers who enjoy SFFH - especially the speculative side of time and place. 🧵⬇️

Just watched Lee Cronin’s The Mummy for the first time, and for the first time I’m left wondering if a film would’ve hit harder in the horror if I was a parent. I mean, it was fine and wasn’t bad or anything. Just felt like it was trying to pull strings I don’t have… 🤷‍♀️
