I guess one of the reasons I like Halloween so much is I grew up watching Bewitched. Yes, I hand drew/painted this from the animated open. #Bewitched #Halloween. (Oh, p.s. I went into advertising as my first career... like Daren.)

My Emily, Corpse Bride is shaping up nicely. I think I’ll take a skeleton upper body and add it for a more realistic effect.

It’s an under the weather Sunday

Being followed by a bunch of bots that have less than 100 followers... ugh... really bsky?

The Halloween decorating process has begun. New home new decor layout. Since most of our front view is the garage... it will have a bunch of decor... I still need to add the rest. Yes, I waited till it cooled down to 96º before I did this yesterday. #halloween #HauntedYard #haunteddriveway

It's October 2nd... we'll be 101º today. Too dang hot.

Happy October.

I'm up to page 5 in act 1. Let's go! #screenwriting #scriptsky

I have to remember, that just because I'm using watercolors doesn't mean I have to paint over all of the paper. Here are my two different Halloween Jiji watercolor paintings. While I like them both the one with the white space I think is visually more interesting. #watercolorart

Halloween Jiji Minis Progress.

Also making some Halloween Jiji Minis... watercolor to come. #visualart #blackcat

Combining elements from two previous paintings: Women of Travel-Paris and Weekender—— this new original watercolor in progress - Paris Perhaps will be available in original, prints and greeting cards on my Etsy site. #visualart #storytelling

Because sometimes we need to share a bit of laughter! #scriptsky

Got a notification: DreamWorks Animation viewed my IN profile. That's so cool. Makes me wonder if it's because of my two Original monster characters, Frankie•Cheska™ and Nos•va•Rose•tu™ that are in my monster comedy short The Horror•ti•Culture™ Club. #screenwriting #visualart #characterdevelopment

I would post a first page Friday... but this one is staying under wraps until finished. #screenwriting #scriptsky

I usually don't repost other's stuff unless asked, but this totally Made my Friday. It's so Machiavellian. Brava.

Listening to my Summer 70s playlist while making dinner..

Emily (the Corpse Bride) head now is light blue. Next, dark blue shading. Halloween prep begins.

Finally written the first 3 pages of my Sci-fi Family Feature... here's a sneak peek... #screenwriting #scriptsky

My Women of Travel first 6 original watercolor paintings are in my Etsy shop. (So are the second 6). Each 9x12" original comes with acid-free mat that would fit into an 11x14" frame. Etsy.com/shop/LauriJon

Thank you @kimhornsby & crew for another amazing #ScreenPit

She's finished. Welcome Autumn. #art #watercolor #originalart

While I love most things about this rental home... I'm not happy with Ant Invasion #3. At least this one is in my downstairs bathroom. This is slab construction... ugh. At least I have Terro Liquid Ant Killer and Food Grade Diatomaceous Earth to win this war.
