I'm back in shoe hell. Nobody carries my size in store because of my clown width. So I have to order online and the last 4 pairs I ordered all do the thing where it might as well be a razor blade to the back of the ankles.

Everyone figured out Starraptor was bad and dumped it, so the first half of July had barely any. For whatever reason in the last week they've all come flooding back so the ladder is super easy again.

Started 11-0 in ranked and have an ongoing 11 win streak in casual. Going to pretend I'm amazing and that it has nothing to do with a million new players on mobile that think Starraptor is good for some reason.

Looks at usage data: Wow, I can't believe Rotom-W is so low. It's strong into most of the top mons and it pairs with everything. Plays a few battles, Rotom hits 2 for 4 on WoW and 1 for 7 with Hydro Pump: Okay maybe the usage is right where it should be.

Just simultaneously ended someones 10 win streak on Champions while scanning my boarding pass. I have never felt more powerful boarding a flight.

Doing another import CD order for things I can't buy digitally. Shipping is $20 but albums are all $1 so I'm throwing a bunch on 1 order. Decide I might as well add a physical copy of one of my favorite albums while I'm at it and they had a signed copy of Out Of Options by Bodebrixen for $20!

Well that's a new one.

I stuck with it and changed out parts until it was a rain team that just smashes a front line before clicking perish. 6 game win streak now but the damage was already done. It took over 20 games to hit masterball this week and it's starting me down in the 1600s now.

It's been wild the last few years seeing more traditional games press begin to understand competitive Pokémon. After literal decades of "to be the very best" fluff pieces, or the only point of reference to VGC being the hotel poop incident, it's amazing to see articles like this. He really gets it!

Been putting in extra hours at both jobs lately. Too burned out to put any thought into the Champions update so just threw Mega Mawile on a team. Quick 7-0 and then thought I should branch out since I run M-Mawile too much. Now realizing this is the 1st day in 6.5 years it's been legal. Help.

I went to VGC Nationals/NAIC 12 years in a row but skipped the last 2 years. They're doing this to bring me back specifically. You're welcome Chicago.
