recently i learned of the old GameBoy game "Trip World", and it has this animal in it that i fell in love with as soon as i saw it. so i drew art of it out of reverence. maybe you'll be a fan of it too.

Cyber battle! Mina vs Rend 🔥🐍

The renegade cyber Mina fights against her former friend, the cyber Rend. They're battling high in the sky, above a cityscape on planet Aisnoda. Both of their cyberized forms have turned their cniydoran tendrils into deadly weapons. Mina's limbs are all like rocket jets, letting her fly through the air while striking Rend with a fiery uppercut. Rend's tendrils are meanwhile like numerous monstrous mechanical snake creatures emerging from his back. As Rend guards against Mina's uppercut, his monstrous tendrils are chomping at Mina from every direction. Her own tendrils are likewise blocking and counterattacking, weaving around and scorching Rend with several streams of scorching flames.

I was experimenting with styles today, and decided to channel that into a cozy late night piece! So here is a rare picture of Molly, for all of her fans.

memories of planet Grukainia 🪼🦦🪐

Scenes from Grukainia, a vast ocean world that's the largest planet in the Zoincailla system. Its ring and numerous moons are a commonly seen feature in the sky from the small islands that are scattered across the surface. Since the vast majority of the planet is covered with ocean, there are large underwater cities, populated by the various jellyfish-like Cniydorans and otter-like Grukainians. in one such underwater city, a young Melusine watches some Grukainians play. Scenes from Mina's past on Grukainia are also shown; in one panel, she's having a sparring match with her friend while they practice their magic together; Mina is surrounded by a burning aura, while her friend has a shadowy snake familiar and a hand covered in shadowy energy. Mina says "heh. Alright. show me what you and your pet can do!" in a different scene, Mina and her friend are confronting an evil Kinncillian Cyber together on a stormy beach. The dinosaur-shaped monster has looms over them with its armored metallic body, electricity sparking from the end of its conduit-like tail. The shadowy snake familiar is hissing angrily at the Cyber.

silly sketch of two of my favorite Kirby enemies, i just wanted to draw these silly things

Art of the Pacto and Pacloud, enemies from Kirby which have a floating head shape and teeth. The Pacloud has cloud-like puffs along its back, as well as two sheep-like curly horns. The two of them are drawn over a light green cloudy landscape which gradually makes way for a dark blue starscape as the clouds go higher.

Same as the previous drawing, but with the sketch-lines cleaned up. It's still sort of messy, in a sense, but looks more painterly.

[Same-Day Story] The Tree of Lumeria
