I’ve been bashing my head against a story for the past 2 months & getting nowhere. I finally decided today that while the story itself is fine, it’s /not/ fine for what it was supposed to be in. So today I scrapped it & started over. /This/ one is writing easily & even the .5 draft is pretty solid

Hey! I'm lee. I make stuff, & get excited about other stuff. Currently making 4th wall breaking horror audio fiction, the graphics & ephemera associated with them, & the occasional fan project, & doing a whole lot of yelling about other people's work. I'm also the entity behind @lawofnames.com

The house is framed and has plywood walls. Stacks of black roofing tiles are on the roof. The words Law of Names are printed in lighter pink in the wrist of the hand

Why does it take so long to make a video game? Even a pretty damn simple interactive story? I want people to be able to interact with this! And I've just barely started writing the investigation. Everything takes too long.

We are a hobbyist network. All our projects are made by volunteers. The writers, actors, editors, artists, and sound designers work on these things for free. It’s… frankly remarkable. And absolutely wonderful. And I’m deeply grateful for the talent & time they are willing to share.

There are voice actors who will voice your stuff for free. Imma repeat myself for any Dev/Creator that is considering AI. THERE ARE VOICE ACTORS WHO WILL VOICE YOUR STUFF FOR FREE. Signed, a voice actor who did voice act FOR FREE for almost NINE YEARS. Don’t make excuses. Stick to human talent.

While we're on the topic of corporate shitweasels funding dodgy research to drive profits at the expense of people, this summer I'm recording the second season of Dakota Gold with @lawofnames.com Series 1 is one of the best things I've ever been a part of, proudly human made and well worth a listen
