I don’t know if it counts as a trick, but Piłsudski’s counteroffensive at the Battle of Warsaw is one of the few times the overly complicated plan relying on multiple moving parts and precision timing actually worked. The Soviets even captured the plan notes and disregarded them as fake.

How likely to be successful would a defense based on compliance with agency directives be?
President Trump is further planning to announce that Andruw Jones’ election to the Baseball Hall of Fame was illegitimate because Jones’ last 4 gold gloves were won after he got kind of fat and he was coasting on his former reputation as an excellent center fielder.
